CEMA Construction Equipment Maintenance Assocation Testimonial
![]() November 15, 2007 Mr. Jay Sturm Mr. Jay Sturm: The Construction Equipment Maintenance Association would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the presentation to our group for our October meeting. We had discussed earlier this year about having someone speak to the group about aerial truck and lift safety. This was the perfect opportunity to introduce you to our group and have you inform us of some of those issues. We appreciated the information you provided us very much including the review of OSHA and its requirement. This discussion on the American National Standards Institute with regards to standards and procedures was also helpful to us. Most enjoyed the examples of incidents you provided and the means by which they could have been avoided. Our group appreciated your presentation very much. We would welcome you back in the future if your schedule allows. If you are interested in becoming part of our group, our contact information has been included. We wish you the best for a safe and happy holiday season.

U.S. Department of Labor January 22, 2008 Jay Sturm Dear Jay, Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to invite the Providence Area Office to the Crane’s Safety Institute. It was a great experience for my staff. You really took the time to explain in detail crane functions, and how to operate and work around them safely. The highlight of the day for everyone was being able to participate in a crane inspection. It was great how you were able to tie the classroom work into a hands on experience. Despite the cold weather nobody could be pulled away from the crane and the interesting stories you shared. Thank you again for taking the time to share your knowledge on cranes with us. The valuable information learned will be useful to my staff throughout their careers. Once again, thank you for sharing your expertise with the Providence OSHA staff. Sincerely, OSHA Testimonial 2
